How to update your Google Chrome?

Although Google Chrome updates itself after a fixed period of time but if a new version is released and you want to try it earlier, so you can take help of manual update.
With update, you can not only switch to new version, but your settings are preserved and it requires even less download. This simply means that update is simply time and bandwidth conserving process.

Updating process doesn't require any long process. You are always just 2 clicks away from update:
  1. Click on wrench buttonin top-right corner of chrome.
  2. Now click on "About Google Chrome"
Update will start automatically!

How to sync your Google Chrome settings?


In Google’s Chrome version 16, a feature called ‘Signing in to Chrome’ has been added. The feature allows you to sign-in with your Google account and save your browser settings, history, extensions and history on the cloud, so you can sync them with other Chrome installations.







 Users can create separate accounts on the Chrome browser as well now, so each one can have separate preferences and bookmarks. Users can add new accounts by heading into the Options menu and into the Personal Stuff sub-section. 

To sign in to chrome,
  1. Click on wrench buttonon top right corner of window.
  2. Now click on "Sign in to Chrome..." 
  3. Now enter your Google profile email and password.
  4. Now click on "OK, sync everything."
That's it!

You're sign-in'ed to Google.
You may also choose what should be your account name and can also choose an "avatar" for your account.

If you don't have Google Chrome version 16, you may update your earlier version of chrome (Learn How) OR download it from http://www.google.co.in/chrome/index.html

How to link Google Analytics and Adword account?


Before you start, make sure that you're using a Google Account email address that has access to both your Analytics and AdWords accounts, and is an Administrator for both accounts.
If you want to link multiple AdWords accounts to a single Analytics account, log in to Analytics and set the new version of Analytics as your default version:


  1. Log in to Analytics.
  2. Click New Version at the top right of the page.
  3. Click Make this version default.
To link your accounts:
  1. Sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com.
  1. Click the Tools and Analysis tab, then click Google Analytics.
  1. Click the gear icon at the top right of any Analytics page.
  1. Click the account to which you want to link the AdWords account.
  1. Click the Data Sources tab.
  1. Click the AdWords tab.
  1. Click Link Accounts.
  1. Select the Analytics profiles in which you want the AdWords data to be available.
If you want to link another AdWords account to your Analytics account, repeat the procedure above using that other AdWords account.
Your accounts should now be linked. If you opted to keep auto-tagging turned on, Analytics starts automatically tagging your AdWords links, and you can track the behavior of visitors coming from your AdWords ads.

* You may see a website domain name in the menu in step 5. This is because you chose to name your account after the website URL.

How to share printer through internet?

Mostly to connect any printer with a PC / Laptop / Mobile , we need to install it's drivers and then only it gives response. If one printer is to be connected with many computers then drivers are needed to be installed on every client. What if printer connects to every computer without installing driver on every client and every PC cold use printer directly? Fascinating, isn't it?




       'Google Cloud Print' provides the similar service on internet. Under this, if your computer is connected to a printer and you have enabled printer sharing option, then any member connected to your network can give command to your printer from all over the world!

       So to enable printer sharing :
  • Open Google Chrome on your PC.
  • Click on wrench icon  and go to 'Options'.
  • Click on 'Under the Hood' in left pane and then enable printer sharing.
  • Next, go to http://www.google.com/cloudprint/ and anyone who wants to connect to your printer has to log-in here.

How to enable new Google bar? (Hack)

Have you heard about new Google bar? If not watch the video below:




but after looking this video you'll find that this bar is not yet enabled. And that's all this hack is about.

  • To enable it, go to http://j.mp/uEQleK.
  • Click on "Add to Chrome"
  • Go to Google.com
  • Log in to your Google account.
  • Now right click on Google.com page and click "Edit Cookies"
  • Then under "PREF" section, change value to:

    ID=03fd476a699d6487:U=a0a80933aabb299a:FF=0:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1322688084:LM=1322737475:S=QGznw8eyQfrt6Own
  • At bottom of page, click on submit cookie changes.
  • Restart your browser and enjoy!

While searching for answer to this question, I found and awesome tool by Google not only which give marks to your site according to it's speed testing rules but also tells you that what's making your site work slow. So, you can get a good way to improve your site's speed without re-editing the  whole source code.



After applying it's speed testing rules, it will score you webpage out of 100 and tell you the ways to improve the speed on left side on page.

An another plus point of this site is that you can check the speed of any sites which are not yours. It gave 99 marks to Facebook which is pretty awesome!
